The first time I experienced pelvic floor symptoms was at the age of 16 — a full thirteen years before I would journey through my first pregnancy, birth and postpartum recovery.

You may have heard a lot of rules about what you can (and can’t) do with pelvic floor symptoms such as leaking, prolapse or diastasis recti.
While we may need to temporarily pause certain exercises, usually we just need to tweak how we’re doing a certain exercise or movement in order to reduce symptoms right then and there.
You can absolutely live a full life with pelvic floor symptoms, while at the same time work toward reducing the severity and frequency of these symptoms.
